Fifi and the Wobbly Bridge
At the park, Fifi must find the courage to cross a wobbly bridge with Momo by her side.
At the park, Mom read on a bench. Fifi stared at the wobbly playground bridge. Her feet felt stuck.
"Why does it shake?" Momo asked. "It's a wobbly bridge, " Fifi whispered. "I've never crossed." Momo's tail drooped. "Scared?" he asked.
Fifi took a big breath. "I'll try, " she said. She put one foot on the plank. The bridge wobbled, and she wobbled too. "Oh no!" Momo squeaked, covering his eyes.
A sparrow hopped onto the rail, adding a little bounce. Fifi giggled. "It's like a bouncy dance!" She took another step, and Momo peeked. "You're rocking!" he cheered.
Step by shaky step, Fifi reached the other side. She spun around and waved. "I crossed, Momo!" Her smile was wide. Momo scampered across, his paws tapping happily.
They sat together on the warm platform. A red leaf drifted down and landed on Momo's ear. Fifi laughed, and they watched the clouds float by.
