A Cookie for a New Friend
Fifi and Momo share a sweet treat and make a new friend at the park.
Fifi carefully slid the cookie tray out of the oven. "Mmm, chocolate chip!" Momo's nose twitched.
Momo peeked into the little bag Fifi was packing. "Do you think we'll see anyone we know at the park?" he asked.
At the park, a boy sat alone on a bench, watching the swings. Fifi felt a little shy, but Momo gave her hand a soft nudge.
"Hi, I'm Fifi. Want a cookie?" The boy looked up, surprised. Then Momo's tail accidentally brushed his knee, and the boy giggled.
The boy's name was Leo. He took a cookie and smiled a big, crumbly smile. Soon they were all chasing each other around the playground.
The last cookie broke into three little pieces. Momo caught his piece in midair, his fluffy tail wagging as Leo laughed.
