The Butterfly Clip
Fifi finds a sparkly blue hair clip at the park and brings it home, but a fib about where it came from makes her tummy feel wobbly. With Momo's help, she chooses honesty and returns it.
Fifi and Momo were at the park. Fifi swung high on the swings while Momo rolled in the grass. Suddenly, something shiny under a bench caught Fifi's eye.
She hopped off and picked up a butterfly-shaped hair clip. "Look, Momo! It's so pretty!" Momo trotted over. "Is it yours?" he asked. Fifi's cheeks felt warm. "Um, yes. I found it at home." She slipped it into her pocket.
At home, Fifi sat on her bed and stared at the clip. Momo curled beside her. "Fifi, why aren't you playing?" She sighed. "Momo, I didn't find it at home. It was at the park. I just wanted to keep it."
Momo's ears twitched. "Your tummy feels wobbly, doesn't it? That happens when I hide my favorite stick and feel sneaky." Fifi nodded. "My tummy is doing flips." Momo said, "Maybe we can fix it." Fifi grabbed the clip. "Let's go back."
At the park, a little girl was crying near the bench. "My butterfly clip! I lost it!" Fifi walked up slowly. "I found this, " she said, holding out the clip. "Is it yours?" The girl's tears stopped. "Yes! Oh, thank you!"
The girl's mom smiled at Fifi. The little girl asked, "Will you play with me?" Soon, Fifi was pushing her on the swing. The butterfly clip sparkled in the girl's hair, and Momo chased a real butterfly, his tail wagging.
