The Bubble Bottle
Fifi wants to make super-bubbles while washing the car with Dad, but she uses a little too much soap. With Momo by her side, she learns that telling the truth can make a messy moment magical.
Fifi and Dad were washing the car. Fifi picked up the soap bottle. 'A little more will make super-bubbles!' she said.
Momo tilted his head. 'Won't that make too many bubbles?' he asked. Fifi squeezed the bottle. Gloop, gloop, gloop! Bubbles piled high on the car like a snowy mountain.
Dad walked around the car and saw the bubbly mountain. 'Who used up all the soap?' he asked. Fifi looked at Momo and said quickly, 'Momo wanted extra bubbles!'
Momo's ears drooped. He looked at Fifi with big, sad eyes. 'But foxes can't squeeze soap bottles, ' Dad said gently. Fifi's cheeks got warm. She whispered, 'It was me. I wanted a bubble mountain.'
Dad chuckled and held up the hose. 'Well, let's enjoy your bubble mountain!' He sprayed a gentle arc of water. Bubbles flew into the air, shimmering.
Fifi and Dad had a bubble fight. Momo chased a big bubble, then pounced and made it burst. He sneezed a tiny foamy sneeze, and Fifi giggled. The whole car sparkled.
