The Sparkle Spin
When Fifi brings her favorite spinning top to the park, she learns that sharing its sparkle makes it even more special.
Fifi carried her spinning top to the park. Momo trotted beside her. 'You're holding it like a secret treasure, ' Momo said. 'I don't want anyone to break it, ' Fifi whispered.
A small boy pointed. 'Can I see?' Fifi clutched the top. 'It's mine.' Momo tilted his head. 'But what if sharing makes it even more fun?' he asked.
Fifi looked at the boy. 'Okay, but be gentle.' Leo reached out. He pulled the string and the top wobbled and fell. Fifi's shoulders drooped. 'Here, let me show you.' She placed her hand over his.
Together they twisted the string. The top dropped and spun, colors melting into a blur. It whirred like a tiny motor. Leo clapped. 'It's dancing!' Momo yipped and chased his own tail.
The top slowed. 'Again!' Leo asked. Fifi nodded. 'You do it by yourself.' She guided his hands once more. The top wobbled but spun, a rainbow circle in the sun. 'You made it work!' Fifi cheered.
They lay on the grass, heads together, watching the top spin to a stop. Its colors rested. Momo sighed. 'Sharing made it shinier, ' he said. Fifi smiled and didn't reach to hide it again.
