The Domino Dance
Fifi is building a long curvy trail of dominoes. When her friend Mia arrives, she hesitates to share her new toy, but Momo's little nudge helps her see a new way to play together.
Fifi lay on the living room carpet, setting rainbow dominoes in a wiggly line. Momo watched, his nose almost touching a green tile.
Just then, Mia poked her head in. 'Can I play?' she asked. Momo whispered, 'But we are having fun... what if she bumps them?'
Fifi bit her lip, then said, 'Okay, but be careful.' She handed Mia a handful of dominoes. Together they built two curvy paths, but Momo's tail swished and knocked over the middle.
Fifi gasped, then giggled. 'Momo, you silly fox!' Mia laughed too. They decided to build one giant snail shell shape instead.
They set the tiles down side by side, winding around the rug. When it was done, Fifi let Mia push the first tile. They held hands as the dominoes tappity-tapped in a colorful dance.
Momo hid behind a cushion, peeking out as the last tile fell. 'Let's make a castle next!' Mia said. Fifi and Mia cheered, already planning their next design.
